It started with an invitation to lunch
It was one of six
Six ox hearts were sourced for six takes of a commercial film shoot in London, and following the shoot, all six were designated to bin.
Salvaging three of the 6, a friend gifted these ox hearts through cooking, sharing and retrieving the unedible elements as material source for this work.
These photographs are part exposures/ part chemigrams, made with large format film used in camera, and then hand developed with facilitated reactions from the ox heart valves and juice. Other chemigram materials include lemon and left over C41 chemistry.
